This work belongs to the community. It does not run on a single donation or a handful of dedicated volunteers. It runs on many people choosing, again and again, to show up for their neighbors. There is a role for everyone here. Whatever you have to give, whether it is your time, your resources, your skills, or your voice, we will put it to good use.
Volunteer Your Time
Volunteers are the foundation of everything we do. We need people to help sort food donations, pack boxes, support distribution days, and assist with outreach and communication. You do not need special skills. You need a willingness to work and a heart for your community. Most volunteer shifts are a few hours and can be scheduled around your life. If you want to give your time, reach out and we will find the right fit for you.
Donate Food and Supplies
Non-perishable food donations go directly into the boxes we distribute to community members in need. We also accept donations of personal hygiene products, including soap, shampoo, toothpaste, deodorant, and feminine hygiene items. If you want to organize a drive at your school, workplace, or congregation, we will support you every step of the way. Get in touch and we will tell you exactly what we need most right now.
Make a Financial Contribution
Financial donations allow us to fill the gaps when donated goods run short, cover the costs of transportation and supplies, and grow our capacity to serve more people. Being Human USA is a recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Your donation may be tax deductible. Please consult your tax advisor for details. Every dollar we receive goes toward the mission. We do not waste what people give us.

If you represent an organization, business, congregation, school, or institution that wants to work with us, we want to hear from you. Partnership can look many different ways. A food drive.
