About Being Human USA
Being Human USA was started because a group of people looked at their community and saw a gap no one else was filling. They saw neighbors who were hungry. They saw families running out of the basics. They saw people who needed help but had nowhere to turn that felt close, personal, and real. So instead of waiting for someone else to step in, they did it themselves.
Our Mission
Being Human USA is dedicated to providing food and other basic necessities to members of the community who find themselves in a time of need. We collect food donations, assemble boxes for distribution, and gather and distribute personal hygiene items and other essentials. Through this work, we hope to improve lives and create a lasting, positive impact on our community.
Our Vision
A community where no one goes without food, hygiene, or the basic resources needed to live with dignity. Where neighbors look out for one another, and the most vulnerable members of our community are never invisible.

Who We Serve
We serve community members facing hardship and needing support. That might mean a family going through a difficult season, an individual experiencing food insecurity, or someone who simply needs a little help getting back on their feet. We do not judge. We show up and offer what we have.
Being Human USA, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization incorporated in the State of New York, based in Staten Island.
